Job Description

An energetic and well established company specializing in redefining retail marketing and manufacturing is seeking a suitably qualified Test Engineer to join their dynamic team in Durban/Cape Town.

Duties:
-Development of the company’s store platform.
-Extending core systems and new quality ideas.
-Leading team activities, user experience sessions, retrospectives, and roadmap discussions.
-Designing and putting forward high-level quality strategies against roadmap items.
-Manage the creation of all testing strategies.
-Contribute hands-on assistance with exploratory and automated testing efforts.
-Redo defects while supporting the team in tracing issues.
-Monitor team quality trends in a pro-active manner and introduce safeguards ahead of time.
-Initiate the design and implementation of test automation frameworks.
-Take part in technical discussions with developers to foresee obstacles concerning quality.
